A full bodied wine with more onion skin colour rather than red/pink. Typical Pinotage floral aromas with prominent red fruit flavours. Staying with the kanonkop philosophy this wine is a full bodied food wine. Add a bit of ice for spice.

Boschendal's Chardonnay grows in mountainous soils under ideal conditions. Hand harvested grapes were pressed and fermented in a cool cellar to preserve the graceful citrus and tropical fruit flavours before some maturation in oak barrels giving the wine a rich texture with elegant depth and buttery dimensions.
A barrel fermented wine with a legacy set by our forefathers. The number on the bottle refers to the age of the Chenin Blanc vines in the year the wine was made. The grapes are picked at optimum ripeness and the juice allowed to ferment with wild yeast in selected barrels over a 9 month maturing period. This wine has a ripe tropical bouquet with hints of thatch and vanilla. A lingering finish with pear and butterscotch on the palate.
