This Chardonnay is hand-picked from Stellenbosch's finest vinyards before being fermented and aged in French casks. 

It is a feast for the senses, with apricot and orange peel aromas followed by flavours of marzipan and citrus.  This wine can be enjoyed in tis youth or after careful cellaring.

Delicate pale pink, bursting with pomegranate, wild strawberry and watermelon.  The First Lady Rosé pairs elegantly with lobster, sashimi salad and rock shrimp tempura.  The First Lady is a tribute to Norma Ratcliffe, Warwick mattriarch and a pioneer in the South African wine industry.  Serve chilled, sit back and ejoy a crisp dry finish that will keep you coming back for more.  To be enjoyed with close friends.

Backsberg Chardonnay displays tropical and citrus characters balanced with a fresh crispness and long flavorful finish.  In order to maintain the fresh fruity characteristics, the wine has not been barrel matured.  This Kosher Mevushal wine has been made under strict supervision of the Cape Town Beth Din, South Africa and the OU.
