We leave most of the work to nature but in the cellar we coax the very best from our fruit, blending contemporary styling with classic flair to create blance, fine flavour and refreshment.

This wine is produced byt eh La Motte Private Cellar, historic landmark in the Franschhoek Valley, home to South Africa's gourmet capital.  The style reflects old-world traditions skilfully harmonized with new-world intensity.

Matured in oak barrels for fourteen months to produce a full-bodied wine with cherry tobacco and dark chocolate flavours.

A sumptuous upfront nose of mocha & coffee beans leads to an invitingly rich palate of wild berry and dark chocolate. Enjoy with grilled and barbecued meats. Delicious with smoked pork ribs.
