Heavy savoury oak aromas combined with pencil shavings and hints of dark fruits, plum and cassis. This wine shows great structure and balance. Initial Cabernet Sauvignon characteristics are followed up with a spicy finish from the Shiraz. With great tannin structure and a strong backbone this wine has excellent ageing potential.

Nederburg Pinotage

Nederburg is South Africa's favourite name in wine, loved for a delicious combination of fruit and finesse. Established in 1791, near Paarl, Nederburg is South Africa's most awarded winery and the popular choice of critics and regular winelovers. We leave most of the work to nature but in the cellar we coax the very best from our fruit, blending contemporary styling with classic flair to create blance, fine flavour and refreshment.

Rustenberg Peter Barlow

The Peter Barlow pays tribute to the man who had the foresight to purchase Rustenberg in the 1940s and invest in making it the icon it is today.  No expense is spared in the making of this wine:  it is sourced from hand-harvested Cabernet Sauvignon from acclaimed vineyards on the slopes of the Simonsberg mountain in Stellenbosch, and aged for 24 months in French oak.  It exhibits an abundance of cassis and blackcurrant, with hints of cedar and cigar box, plenty of body and a structured backbone of fine-grained tannins.  Patient cellaring of this wine will be rewarded.
