Full-bodied, deep ruby red colour. An elegant classic style wine with black currant, red berry and cassis flavours. Good with meat dishes.
The Peter Barlow pays tribute to the man who had the foresight to purchase Rustenberg in the 1940s and invest in making it the icon it is today. No expense is spared in the making of this wine: it is sourced from hand-harvested Cabernet Sauvignon from acclaimed vineyards on the slopes of the Simonsberg mountain in Stellenbosch, and aged for 24 months in French oak. It exhibits an abundance of cassis and blackcurrant, with hints of cedar and cigar box, plenty of body and a structured backbone of fine-grained tannins. Patient cellaring of this wine will be rewarded.
A soft, smooth new world blend from Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz grapes. Showing fruity, black plum flavours with a hint of pepper. Enjoy on its own or with a robust meal
