This truly traditional fortified wine was crafted by hand-picking, foot-stomping, unfiltered-passion. Touriga Nacional and South Africa's own Pintoage join forces to produce this structured delight offering warm, complete flavours. For utmost pleasure it must be enjoyed with friend or foe, in a crowd or alone.

Full ripe Portugeuse varieties were used to create this complex, smooth, flavour rich wine; fortified with brandy spirit and aged for two years in old 4000 litre traditinal pipe casks.

The farm was named in 1704 when the settlers returned from an arduous journey to find their livestock gone and their home burnt down - hence the name Allesverloren meaning "all is lost". Present Owner, Danie Malan is the fifth generation on the farm, continuing the pioneering winemaking tradition of his forefathers who acquired the farm in 1872. The Malan family has been making this now legendary fortified wine, made of traditional Portuguese varieties, for the past four decades. Appreciate the wood aroma with nut and raisin berry undertones, accentuated with the creamy soft taste of ripe fruit.
